Due to the character of the historic building, no two rooms at Casa Bonavita are the same.

Each has its own distinguishing features that make it entirely unique. From suites with sweeping garden views and generous sitting rooms, to more intimate chambers tucked away up hidden stairways, every space reveals its own quiet charm.

Seventeen Bedrooms and Suites, from 24 to 56 sim in size, but with an undescribable feeling of ample space as per the high ceiling, the details, the fabrics, the views.

THE RESTAURANT

Casa Bonavita’s Kitchen is led by Executive Chef Dex Oseman. His cooking is instinctive, ingredient-focused, and rooted in the generous spirit of Mediterranean home cooking.

Trained at The River Café, Dex’s cooking celebrates exceptional produce through simple, unfussy dishes full of flavour and warmth. Inspired by Malta’s sea, gardens, and slower rhythm of life, the menu draws on seasonal ingredients, classical European technique, and a deep respect for quality. Guests are encouraged to linger over long lunches, good wine, and relaxed dinners that stretch late into the evening — one of the great pleasures of Mediterranean living.

The Valletta Bar is wrapped in hand-painted wallpaper by De Gournay and held in a low, intimate light. Evenings gather slowly here over classic cocktails, quiet conversation, and the easy drift into late hours, creating a space that feels at once discreet, atmospheric, and gently alive after dark.

Wellness at Casa Bonavita is approached with the same quiet simplicity as the rest of the house. A spa, sauna, and cold plunge offer space to rest and restore, while a range of treatments are available. Set within rooms lined in patterned Moroccan tiles, the atmosphere is calm, shaded, and gently removed from the pace of the day.
